I have been blogging for a number of years, and prior to that wrote columns for various newspapers. I write largely from my own experience as a researcher and other roles.  This blog is joined by a number of people who I know from one place or another, who largely share my interests, whether or not I agree with their writings. My interests span from politics and society, to justice, science and education. I have a particular interest as a woman blogger, in a blogoverse which is very male-oriented.
